Jira FreshBooks Connector

Rozdoum has developed Jira FreshBooks Connector - a plugin to integrate time tracking from JIRA into FreshBooks. Version 2.0 is now available at Atlassian Marketplace.

2.0 edition is enriched with following features:

• provided ability to configure project and user mapping between services - it is even more simple than before, you can adjust users and projects by 2 clicks

• implemented live worklogs synchronization from JIRA to FreshBooks - Jira FreshBooks Connector 2.0 guarantees its users new level of their business automatization, there is no need to synchronize financial data manually any more

• added FreshBooks summary custom field - new feature that ensures correspondence between Jira and FreshBooks issue summaries. No cut phrases in your invoices, you choose the issues names in FreshBooks

Jira FreshBooks Connector is intended for automatic transferring of logged work hours from Jira to FreshBooks. To manage this function you need to specify a Jira project as a Source and a FreshBooks project as a Target in “Project Links”.

Jira FreshBooks Connector plugin sets an issue in FreshBooks for every created task in Jira. When updated in Jira this task is immediately updated in FreshBooks as well. The issue is disabled in FreshBooks only if a work log is removed in Jira. In case a whole Jira task is deleted, no changes happen in FreshBooks.

Plugin allows automatic and manual synchronization modes. By default automatic is always on. Manual can be triggered from plugin’s administration dashboard. Administration dashboard also provides setting for projects and mapping of users.
